Kenya founded Lock Performance in 2020 while in college studying Exercise Science. During this time, she was also playing college basketball and preparing to become a Field Artillery Officer in the US Army.
After finishing her time in college athletics, Kenya became heavily involved in the fitness world and has been dedicated to helping people achieve their goals, gain their confidence back after their sport, and find their sense of purpose in life.
"When I gave up basketball, I felt like my whole identity dissapeared. The only way of life that I ever knew was over, but the world kept spinning. Finding my purpose in life was a constant struggle and where I finally found my place was in fitness. Learning how to exercise in a way that was fun and effectiveand sharing that with others saved me. My goal with Lock Performance is to help others gain their confidence back so that they can find their purpose, too."
